Suggestions/Nominations for NEW GLOSSARY ENTRIES Go HERE

Suggestions for NEW GLOSSARY ENTRIES {CLICK HERE}

  Do you know more STOCK CLERK-related TERMS? This is the best place to suggest or nominate NEW GLOSSARY ENTRIES.

NOTE: However, before submitting an ENTRY, please ensure it is indeed NEW:
  1. First, double-check the GLOSSARY proper (TABS #, and A-Z)
  2. Next, check the NEW (+) TAB. If it's already there, you can still add your COMMENT to that provisional ENTRY, and I'll be happy to consider you as a possible co-contributor.
  3. Search the COMMENTS already attached here. Again, if you find a prior submission, your additions (on meanings, usage, application, etc.) may still qualify you as a possible co-contributor.
  4. Didn't find it? OK—Add it here!

Please remember that this process of gathering and making additions to the GLOSSARY is essentially unscheduled. It's a hobby of mine, yes, but not an obligation. So, please be patient if it seems like you're not getting immediate feedback. Whether or not I make any further updates at all, worthy suggestions made here will still stand as a record of your contributions. Thanks!

For example:

Here's a potential new GLOSSARY ENTRY:

ROP Ads

However -- sorry -- I don't know the definition. Can someone please help?

I think it may have something to do with promotions or advertising over the radio.

ISE

...as found written on a standard form attached to a MILK CRATE that said, "Overstock Inventory, pulled by the ISE RESET team."

Obviously it's a RGIS term, but nobody I asked in the BACKROOM happened to know the exact definition. Please help?

Weekender ???

My guess is it's a subclass of SHIPPER, i.e., one containing only IN-AND-OUT ITEMS, but I couldn't find anyone who knew for sure. Help?
